About Me
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Rhode Island. I completed my undergraduate degree at Spelman College and my PhD at the University of Rhode Island. My doctoral research focused on an intervention addressing adolescent substance use during psychiatric hospitalizations.

At Blooming Lotus Therapy LLC, I am committed to providing individualized care to support each client's unique needs and goals. My mission is to work collaboratively with them to help them navigate life's challenges and cultivate personal growth and self-discovery.

My Specializations
Anxiety
Anxiety can manifest in many ways, including excessive worry, fear, and panic attacks, which can be debilitating, but it doesn't have to control your life. I utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients manage their symptoms and develop coping strategies for a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
Depression
ADHD
Depression can make even the most basic tasks feel insurmountable and can involve feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and lack of interest in activities. I provide a safe and supportive environment to explore the root causes of my client's depression and develop a personalized treatment plan to help them find hope and healing.
ADHD can present unique challenges in both academic and personal settings when dealing with inattentiveness, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. I help clients develop strategies to manage their symptoms, improve focus and organization, discover their strengths and achieve their goals.
LGBTQIA +
Navigating ones sexuality, gender, and identity can be a challenging and emotional journey. I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment to help clients cope with the complexities of life including coping with discrimination and oppression, overcoming relationship challenges, navigating family and cultural dynamics with sensitivity, and providing support throughout the process of transition.
